Peggy DeKay

After a short career in banking, she went back to college for a computer science degree and opened a computer and network design company. After 13 years in the computer business DeKay became a newspaper columnist and freelance writer. When she discovered print-on-demand technology and realized the huge potential for authors, DeKay knew what she had to do: teach other writers how to take control of their careers, their content and their profit margins by self-publishing. DeKay is on a mission. She is the Director of Women Who Write in Louisville. DeKay teaches self-publishing workshops at several universities, libraries, book festivals and writers conferences.
