Wow, what a Con!
 |
We had a really great con this year -- over a 1000 fans came together for one of the best Conventions Memphis has ever seen.
The programing was truly spectacular - We had over 100 Panels, Readings and Special Events, plus 90 hours of Video and Anime. To get an idea of what went on, you can take a look at the Programing Schedule. We sincerely thank everyone who was on a Panel, or who enlightened and entertained us with a slide-show or presentation.
One of the highlights of the Convention was a short play (pictured left) written by Jane Fancher and C.J. Cherryh, and performed by Jane Fancher, C.J. Cherryh, Michael Sheard, Lynn Abbey, Lee Martindale, Selina Rosen, Cullen Johnson, Kat Hibpshman, and Jeff Bango (I think that I'm missing one or two people).
We want to express our deepest thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make MSC's programming the resounding success that it was.
|
The Gaming was also great at the Con - we had over 150 Role Playing, Miniatures, Collectable Card and Board games. Plus a LAN party, LARP, and other fun stuff. You can take a look over our Gaming Schedule to see what went on at the Con. We must thank all the gaming groups that contributed to the Con: the Fellowship Of Role Gaming Enthusiasts (FORGE), the Memphis Strategy Board Gaming Community (MSBGC), the Middle Earth Gamers Association (MEGA), and the Dead Dragon Society (DDS). And a special thanks to all of the independent GMs who put in the time and effort to run wonderful events for all who attended the Con.
